Welcome
I serve as the Price-LeBar Professor of Christian Education at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. I have has taught in Christian higher education for more than thirty years, and have written or edited ten books, as well as several dozen articles in professional journals. My work has primarily been in the areas of psychology, sociology, and spirituality.

I worked in radio broadcasting for ten year--beginning in junior high school--then began a second career in higher education at age 24. I have taught at Circleville Bible College, Toccoa Falls College, Biola University, Vanguard University, and now Wheaton College.

I am married to Brenda and we have three children, all of them now grown. I am deeply thankful to God for all He has accomplished in my life.
