This is an autobiolgraphical account how I became interested in children's spirituality. The study of children's faith, religion, and spirituality captured my interest when--in the mid 1970s--Greg Whiteman shared with me what he was learning in a class at Asbury Seminary. Almost immediately I began reading everything I could find on the topic, and continued to do so for the next 30 years.
